On the afternoon of September 19, the 2019 China International Food and Catering Expo co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hunan Provincial People's Government opened in Changsha. On the morning of September 20, Director of MOFCOM Circulation Industry Promotion Center Liu Decheng attended the 2019 China Food & Catering Industry Innovation and Development Summit and delivered a speech. Themed on "digital food era, wise vision of the future”, the summit described the development trend of the industry in the new time, and actively explored the direction of supply-side structural reform, Liu Decheng said. In the new era, China's food and catering industry will play a new and greater role in promoting the upgrading of domestic consumption structure, leading new fashion consumption, cultivating new supply, and enhancing new kinetic energy for green health and safety development. We must adhere to the initial intention of the development of the industry, and get more closely united around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core. The Rural E-Commerce Development Forum was successfully held during the expo, exploring how to build an integrated “upgraded version” to promote the high-quality development of rural e-commerce.
